The Van
Our Atlas Dakota Super caravan (32x12) is about 7 years old.
It sleeps 6 people with two bedrooms, one nice sized double room and one twin bedroom. Shower room, toilet, kitchen and lounge with dining area. The lounge also converts into a third sleeping area.
All bedrooms are heated with electric radiators and the lounge has a gas fire.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual utensils. The oven is gas and there is also a microwave.
In the van there is a sky satellite box with the basic free to view channels,
if you need more you can take along a sky viewing card if you have one.
Outside there is a decked area to sit and relax overlooking a large grassed area with a duck pond.
The Site
On site there is a large children's play area, though far enough away not to hear it.
A small but warm indoor swimming pool is open through the main season, but tends to be closed during the colder months as it is largely unused then.
There is small tavern on site that serves a good pint and a good menu. We can recommend the food, especially Sunday lunch, but don't expect express service as the same few family members serve food, cook, clear tables and look after the bar. Upstairs from the main bar is a games room with a pool table and darts board.
There is a small laundrette on site that uses tokens bought from the site office.
Prices
We charge the same price all year round, no peek or off peek prices.
The first night is £50 and £35 for any additional night.
This is not a commercial venture, and all money made goes to keep the van in good order and to pay the ever increasing site fees, we feel this price is very cheap.
No pets or smoking permitted in the van at any time, due to allergies
and asthma in the family.
We do not advertise the van and only let it out to family and friends we know will respect and enjoy it.
Thank you for looking.
